The 2009 Naturalism Stakes was taken out by the A J Cummings trained Red Lord from barrier 8, carrying 55.0kg in weight. Red Lord, a 6yo gelding was ridden by D Oliver and won the race .4 lengths ahead of the second placed Light Vision (NZ), who carried 56.5 from barrier 9. Then followed Majestical (NZ) in third spot .4 lengths behind, carrying 54.0. Red Lord won at odds of 12.00.
