The 2009 Northwood Plume Stakes was taken out by the Ms G Johnstone trained Our Lona from barrier 6, carrying 53.0kg in weight. Our Lona, a 4yo mare was ridden by M Pegus and won the race .8 lengths ahead of the second placed Tootsie (NZ), who carried 53.0 from barrier 14. Then followed Velocitea (NZ) in third spot .3 lengths behind, carrying 55.5. Our Lona won at odds of 21.00.
