2009 Winterbottom Stakes Result
The 2009 Winterbottom Stakes was taken out by the A W Noonan trained Ortensia from barrier 5, carrying 56.5kg in weight. Ortensia, a 4yo mare was ridden by Craig Williams and won the race 1.5 lengths ahead of the second placed Idyllic Prince, who carried 58.5 from barrier 4. Then followed Black In Time in third spot .1 lengths behind, carrying 56.5. Ortensia won at odds of 3.75.

2008 Winterbottom Stakes Result
The 2008 Winterbottom Stakes was taken out by the J A Janiak trained Takeover Target from barrier 1, carrying 58.5kg in weight. Takeover Target, a 9yo gelding was ridden by J Ford and won the race .1 lengths ahead of the second placed Apache Cat, who carried 58.5 from barrier 5. Then followed Marasco in third spot 2.3 lengths behind, carrying 58.5. Takeover Target won at odds of 2.88.
