2009 Emancipation Stakes Result
The 2009 Emancipation Stakes was taken out by the J F Moloney trained Amberino from barrier 13, carrying 55.5kg in weight. Amberino, a 5yo mare was ridden by D Oliver and won the race .2 lengths ahead of the second placed Bernicia, who carried 56.5 from barrier 8. Then followed Reggie (NZ) in third spot .4 lengths behind, carrying 56.0. Amberino won at odds of 12.00.
