The 2009 QTC Sires Produce Stakes was taken out by the J P Wallace trained Shoot Out from barrier 2, carrying 56.0kg in weight. Shoot Out, a 2yo gelding was ridden by Daniel Griffin and won the race 1.3 lengths ahead of the second placed Impulsive Dream, who carried 54.0 from barrier 4. Then followed Carrara in third spot .2 lengths behind, carrying 56.0. Shoot Out won at odds of 8.00.
