The 2009 Reisling Slipper Trial was taken out by the Ms G Waterhouse trained More Joyous (NZ) from barrier 5, carrying 55.5kg in weight. More Joyous (NZ), a 2yo Filly was ridden by D Beadman and won the race 2.3 lengths ahead of the second placed Melito, who carried 55.5 from barrier 1. Then followed So Anyway in third spot 2.3 lengths behind, carrying 55.5. More Joyous (NZ) won at odds of 2.11.
