2009 Werribee Cup Result
The 2009 Werribee Cup was taken out by the D R Sutton trained La Rocket from barrier 1, carrying 57.5kg in weight. La Rocket, a 5yo gelding was ridden by S Baster and won the race 1.8 lengths ahead of the second placed Oronero (NZ), who carried 53.0 from barrier 6. Then followed Davcon in third spot 2.5 lengths behind, carrying 59.0. La Rocket won at odds of 2.50.
