A Golden day at Rosehill for the $10m Eagle

Another huge prizemoney day at Rosehill on Saturday with the running of the Golden Eagle over 1500m for the 4yos.

Many of the best of that age bracket in the land are here on this card with form coming from all different areas and all different jurisdictions.

Amelia's Jewel ($4.50) looks to bounce back after the Melbourne defeat and she will face the likes of Hawaii Five Oh ($5) out of the Everest and Kovalica ($6) from the King Charles III.

Then there is Legarto ($8) over from New Zealand and Obamburumai ($11) coming from Japan. Tack on horses from the Epsom, G1s in Victoria and the Silver Eagle and you have a great mix.

The Giga Kick Stakes (1300m) really is for the Winners Stakes as Think About It ($1.70) tries to maintain his extraordinary record now after winning The Everest. Private Eye ($3.50) also steps up from the big race along with Mazu ($15).

There is also the Rosehill Gold Cup (2000m) for the staying types and noms have come from all places as well. Muramasa ($26) and Shock 'Em Ova ($26) could be up from Melbourne while Shibli ($101) and Great House ($51) are available from up north as they test raiders like Canberra Legend ($2.80).
