Attractable receives wildcard slot in All Star Mile field
Trainer Sara Ryan’s star Attractable is set to contest Saturday’s All-Star Mile at Caulfield after receiving a wildcard from Racing Victoria.
The five-year-old gelding, based in Wyong, New South Wales, clinched a major victory in the $3 million Big Dance at Randwick last November.
Despite narrowly missing out on the G2 The Ingham at Randwick, Attractable’s strong performance in the Group 2 Apollo Stakes, finishing within four lengths of top miler Fangirl, secured his spot in the All-Star Mile field.
With a background in Victoria, including a win in the 2022 Gold Nugget at Ballarat, Attractable’s return to Melbourne marks a significant homecoming.
Jockey Linda Meech will pilot Attractable in the prestigious race, aiming to follow the footsteps of Jamie Kah, last year’s victor.
