Schiller positive Inglis Millennium 2025 betting companies favourite can deliver

Tyler Schiller is confident that Victorian filly Price Tag will be tough to beat in the $2 million Inglis Millennium, provided she adjusts well to racing in the clockwise direction.
After drawing barrier 11 on Tuesday, Price Tag has taken outright $4 betting apps favouritism, while other top contenders, including Rivellino (16) and unbeaten youngster Within The Law (18), received challenging gates.
Schiller recently traveled to Melbourne to ride Price Tag in the Blue Diamond Preview (1000m) at Sandown, where she finished second behind the highly regarded My Gladiola. The jockey was impressed with her performance.
“She is a nice little filly. She’s got plenty of upside,” Schiller said.
“She is still doing a little bit wrong. I rode her last (start) and she is still a bit raw, but I think if she can come up here and do everything right, it will take a good horse to beat her.”
A $600,000 Easter Sale purchase, Price Tag is by the successful sire Zoustar and out of the talented mare Humma Humma. This marks her second campaign, having placed in the Maribyrnong Trial (1000m) on debut in the spring before finishing fourth in the Maribyrnong Plate (1000m).
Schiller, who partnered her at Sandown, believes she will adapt smoothly to racing in Sydney.
“I don’t know if she has worked the Sydney way, but she should handle it well,” he said.
“If anything, she wanted to hang right so she should be better suited up here. Hopefully.”
A full field of 16 runners plus four emergencies has been confirmed for the Inglis Millennium (1100m). Price Tag is one of two entries for trainers Anthony and Sam Freedman, with stablemate Bubion also in the mix.
To be ridden by apprentice Zac Wadick, Bubion finished midfield in the Blue Diamond Preview but previously earned a stakes placing on debut at Caulfield during the spring.
