Share in Golden Slipper runner-up for sale on Inglis Digital
An exciting investment opportunity is currently underway, with a 10 percent share in top-tier colt Coleman now available via Inglis Digital’s April (Early) Online Sale, which is officially active.
By Friday afternoon at 4:30pm, the leading bid for the share had reached $80,000, reflecting immediate interest in the Pierata colt.
Coleman burst onto the scene as a two-year-old, scoring back-to-back wins in the Listed Debutant Stakes and the Group 3 Chairman’s Stakes. His momentum stalled in the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes, where he finished well down the order despite starting as favourite.
He bounced back to take third in the Group 3 Pago Pago Stakes, before nearly snatching victory in the Golden Slipper when edged out by Lady Of Camelot. He followed that up with a third-place finish in the ATC Sires’, another Group 1 event.
Now three, Coleman’s highlight from five runs was a strong second in the Group 2 Roman Consul Stakes. Following that campaign, he was moved from Matt Laurie’s yard to join the powerful Chris Waller stable.
Currently in work, Coleman is on a path toward Queensland’s richest races, including the Group 1 Doomben 10,000 and the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap.
Among other eye-catching lots in the Inglis Digital sale are Bout, the full sibling to Flying Artie and in-foal to Shinzo; a share in Russian Revolution; and Aardvark, the Listed Talindert Stakes-winning gelding by Capitalist. Final bidding opens from 10am on Wednesday.
