Low draw key for Snow In May in the 2025 Hot Danish Stakes
Snow In May will look to bounce back in the Hot Danish Stakes on Saturday, with co-trainer Tom Charlton urging punters to forgive her Silver Eagle run.
The mare had resumed in fine form, placing in both the Mona Lisa Stakes and the Golden Pendant, before enduring a tough run from the widest barrier in the Silver Eagle.
“You can put a line through that run,” Charlton said.
“She stuck on well despite being four-deep. Back to mares' grade and a softer draw helps.”
Stablemate Hurstville Zagreb also continues his rise, chasing another win in the Petaluma Handicap on his way toward black-type company.
“He’s a big horse who keeps improving. 1800m suits and he’s building the right way,” Charlton said.
Bartolf rounds out the Rosehill team in the Ranvet Handicap.
