She’s A Hustler too good in the 2025 Zipping Classic

At Caulfield on Saturday, She’s A Hustler excelled in her first venture over 2400 metres, fighting hard to claim a career-best victory in the $750,000 Zipping Classic.
The Grahame Begg mare once again highlighted her reliability, adding a Group 2 to a résumé that now includes seven wins and four seconds from 11 starts.
Her latest success strengthened her credentials as a rising force ahead of a likely tilt at the Caulfield Cup next spring.
Begg confirmed a Brisbane campaign was being mapped out, following the proven route of recent Caulfield Cup winners Incentivise and Half Yours.
“You have to have those ambitions,” Begg said.
“She’s a beauty, a winning machine, she’s never finished further back than second in 11 starts (with) seven wins.
We may go to Brisbane for one or two runs up there, something like the Q22 and then back down here. The Q22 is a great race and it sets them up for the spring.”
The mare was coming off strong efforts in the Matriarch Stakes and Tesio Stakes, and despite encountering trouble on the turn, she regrouped to touch out Light Infantry Man by a narrow margin.
Her jockey Jordan Childs, aboard for all 10 of her Australian runs, felt she was still developing.
“The way she’s going about it, she’s still got improvement there,” Childs said.
“She doesn’t know how to fully put races away, but I think she’ll keep improving.
To tick that off over 2400 metres today, it will hold her in good stead for next prep.”
The win came two races after Begg and Childs combined with Ruska Roma to win the Twilight Glow Stakes.
