Charlotte Littlefield celebrates with Fatty Finn's Sale breakthrough

Veteran punters could well recall Fatty Finn grabbing his initial victory while favourite at Sale.
Fatty Finn draws from a 1920s Sydney comic strip figure, who became a movie star in the 1980s portrayed by Ben Oxenbould.
The horse achieved this on his third appearance in Wednesday's Programmed Property Services Maiden Plate (1415m) at Sale.
Charlotte Littlefield conditions Fatty Finn, and she also trains Bruiser Murphy, the debut Moe maiden victor with identical ownership as Fatty Finn.
Performing strapper duties at the Sale meeting, Littlefield promptly offered a charming tale behind the horse.
"Ben, the actor who played the character in the movie, got in touch with us," Littlefield told racing.com.
"He's going world-wide this horse and now that he's won, he's going to be even more famous.
"It's a great story."
With Zac Spain riding as the $2.10 market elect, Fatty Finn dominated proceedings well before the finish, prevailing by 1-½ lengths against Just For Kicks ($5) and She's Got The Cash ($6) just a head behind in third place.
"He rode that to perfection," Littlefield said.
"He took luck out of the equation, he went forward and the horse was too good.
"A big thank-you to Lyn Joyce who has entrusted this horse in my care, and she has two horses, very well named, Bruiser Murphy and Fatty Finn."
Heading to England, Littlefield will participate in July's Magnolia Cup amid the Glorious Goodwood Carnival, a 'Ladies Day' fundraiser for 12 women from diverse fields like business, sport, fashion, and media following dedicated training.
"I grew up just down the road, so Goodwood was my local racecourse," Little said.
"To now return here and compete at such a prestigious event is truly a pinch-me moment."
