Williams, Jusufovic pursue seventh heaven in the Country Mile Series Final

Craig Williams and Enver Jusufovic have formed a formidable partnership, and they’ll be hoping to continue their winning ways at Caulfield this Saturday.
Last weekend at Flemington, Williams guided Mytemptation to victory, marking his first ride for Jusufovic in 2025 and extending his unbeaten streak with the stable to six wins.
Now, Williams will be looking to make it seven when he partners Mixxit in the $250,000 Country Mile Series Final, the final race on the Caulfield card.
Jusufovic’s stable has been in fine form, operating at a 26.4% strike rate this season, and Williams is grateful to be a part of its success.
“EJ has a great strike rate, so when you ride for him, you know you’re always in with a chance,” Williams said.
“I’ve been fortunate to get on the right horses at the right time, and a few of them have some really bright futures ahead.”
Williams has now ridden for Jusufovic 18 times in his career, with seven wins at an impressive 38.9% strike rate.
Among other top-performing riders for the stable, Brian Park has won six times from 19 rides (31.9%), Ben Allen has recorded 28 wins from 152 rides (18.4%), and Carleen Hefel has 26 wins from 134 rides (19.4%).
Williams will steer Mixxit, a four-year-old by Sioux Nation, from barrier 12 if the emergencies come out of the $250,000 Country Mile Series Final.
