The Quokka 2025 set to be live and free on Racing.com

The 2025 $5 million Kia Quokka (1200m) will be broadcast live on Racing.com as part of a new partnership between the channel and Racing WA, it has been confirmed.
Western Australia’s richest race, scheduled for Saturday, 26 April 2025, will be streamed live via Racing.com’s multiple platforms. This includes Channels 68 and 78 on free-to-air, Foxtel Channel 529, their digital platforms, 7plus and Kayo.
The partnership marks another step in Racing WA’s strategy to increase visibility of local racing, adding to last year’s Seven Network agreement that allowed full WA thoroughbred coverage on 7plus through Racing WA TV.
Racing WA Chief Racing Officer David Hunter emphasised the national attention The Quokka has garnered and the benefits of this expanded coverage.
“The Quokka has quickly become a highlight on the national racing calendar and we’re thrilled to partner with Racing.com to showcase it to a broader audience,” he said.
“We’re also excited to showcase the running of this year’s Group 2 Karrakatta, our premier race for two years olds, earlier in the program ahead of The Quokka.
“Racing.com’s high-quality coverage and strong footprint will provide an ideal platform to promote WA racing – we’re confident this broadcast will captivate race fans across the country.”
Racing.com, operated by Racing Victoria, is one of the leading providers of thoroughbred racing content in Australia and continues to broaden its national influence.
Andy Hoad, Racing Victoria’s Executive General Manager of Media, Content and Marketing, said The Quokka’s growing popularity made it a key addition to their schedule.
“We’re excited to showcase The Quokka meeting on Racing.com. It’s a race that has built great interest nationally in its short history,” he said.
“Punters in the east love WA racing, particularly on a Saturday night after Melbourne’s finished, so we expect great interest.
