Matt Laurie trio have spin at Caulfield races

Caulfield punters got a look at some of Matt Laurie’s stable stars on Saturday when Treasurethe Moment, Vinrock and See You In Heaven galloped between races.
Treasurethe Moment, a dual Oaks winner, worked solo, while Vinrock matched strides with stable newcomer See You In Heaven. All three are raced by Yulong, with Treasurethe Moment and Vinrock set for feature Group 1 assignments.
Laurie said the hit-out was a valuable race-day style preparation.
“It was all about a bit of race day stimulation and if you get the opportunity to take them away and work them on a lovely surface, you should take that opportunity,” Laurie said.
Treasurethe Moment will resume in the Group 1 Memsie Stakes (1400m) before likely heading to the Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) and Turnbull Stakes (2000m). She also has entries in the Caulfield Cup (2400m) and Cox Plate (2040m), with Yulong to decide her ultimate path.
Vinrock is due to resume in the Group 3 H D F McNeil Stakes (1200m), before travelling to Sydney for the Run To The Rose (1200m) and Golden Rose (1400m).
“I was very happy with Vinrock, I thought he relaxed beautifully in the gallop,” Laurie said. “I loved the way he quickened up beside her (See You In Heaven).”
See You In Heaven, a multiple Group winner formerly trained in Adelaide by Richard and Chantelle Jolly, was purchased by Yulong earlier this year. Laurie suggested she may kick off in the Group 3 W W Cockram Stakes (1200m), though final plans are undecided.
“She’s a well-performed mare that probably tapered off last preparation,” Laurie said. “She’s had her little issues… but if we can get some form back, that would be wonderful, otherwise she will be off to visit one of the Yulong stallions.”
